During a panel discussion at the fifth “Energy has no gender” conference, Natalya Mykolska, a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo, talked about significant measures taken by one of the leading energy companies in Ukraine towards gender equality. She emphasized that gender equality is an integral part of the company's corporate culture and reaffirmed the commitment to providing equal opportunities for the development of every employee, regardless of gender.

Furthermore, as part of implementing the principles of diversity, equality, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), Ukrhydroenergo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine to implement the state's veteran policy. This agreement aims to create conditions for veterans and young people in the hydroenergy sector and support their employment.

The “Energy has no gender” conference brought together recognized experts from Ukraine and Europe to discuss gender equality issues in the energy sector during times of conflict, opportunities for women in employment during crises, and their role in Ukraine's green energy transition and post-war recovery.

The conference was organized by the NGO «Women's Energy Club of Ukraine» with the support of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the German Energy Agency (DENA), GIZ, the German Renewable Energy Agency (BEE), DTEK, 50 Hertz, and CMS.
