South Korea is ready to share technology and experience in hydropower development with Ukraine
Today, a meeting occurred between the Ukrhydroenergo and the Korean Water Resources Corporation K-water.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of further cooperation in the field of hydropower, particularly in the reconstruction of the Kakhovska HPP.
Representatives of K-Water emphasized the readiness of the South Korean government to support state and private companies in restoring Ukraine's energy sector, which has been devastated by war.
The Korean company is ready to share its experience with Ukrainian experts in hydropower and advanced technologies. Furthermore, as a result of the meeting, it was decided to establish working groups for further communication to enhance cooperation in the restoration of hydropower.
Previously, Ukrhydroenergo and K-water have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which includes cooperation in an experimental project to restore the Kakhovska Hydropower Plant.
