The Special Presidential Envoy for Climate of the United States, John Kerry, visited the Ukrainian pavilion at COP28

The main topic was the environmental impact of the conflict and U.S. assistance in Ukraine's struggle against Russian occupiers.

During the visit, he acquainted with information about the consequences of one of the most significant man-made disasters in human history—the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was detonated by the Russian army on June 6, 2023.

Accompanying Mr. Kerry in the pavilion were Samantha Power, Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, Martin Strong, U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Bonnie Jenkins, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security.

Noteworthy that the delegation from Ukrhydroenergo is participating in the conference and holding the number of important meetings.
