Monitoring visits were conducted at Ukrhydroenergo’s HPPs with the participation of international experts from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation

Within the Hydro Power Plants Emergency Restoration Project, being implemented with the funding provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Government of Italy, the specialists of PJSC "Ukrhydroenergo", jointly with international partners, are carrying out planned monitoring visits to the Company's facilities.

In particular, some technical inspections of certain elements of hydropower equipment at the Company's power plants were carried out in May, with the participation of Mr. Stefano Osti, the Energy and Environment Expert of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.  These activities are an important step to preparations for the restoration and modernization of critical energy infrastructure.

The goal of the above project is to restore the reliability and efficiency of Ukrainian hydro power plants that were damaged as a result of the military aggression by the Russian Federation. Cooperation with international partners ensures not only financial support but also expert assistance at every single stage.
