Official Statement of the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”
The Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” has selected Korn Ferry as the leadership advisory consultant for the selection of the Company’s General Director.
Amid the unprecedented challenges faced by Ukraine’s energy sector, the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo continues to take consistent steps to strengthen the corporate governance system and ensure the Company’s long-term resilience.
To conduct the General Director selection process, the Supervisory Board has engaged Korn Ferry, a global leadership and talent advisory firm recognized as a world leader in executive search and assessment. Korn Ferry is a publicly listed U.S. company operating in more than 50 countries, known for its impeccable standards of independence, ethics, and professionalism.
During the first working session between the Supervisory Board and the Korn Ferry team, the firm presented its approach to organizing the General Director search process. This approach includes not only strategic alignment of expectations between the Supervisory Board and the shareholder but also the application of advanced methodologies for assessing the performance and leadership potential of both internal and external candidates.
Korn Ferry also provided recommendations on succession management and risk mitigation mechanisms to ensure objectivity and fairness throughout the process, taking into account the specific wartime context. During the meeting, the overall project plan was discussed, shareholder expectations were considered, the key principles of the process were agreed upon, and an action plan for the coming weeks was approved. As a result of the meeting, the parties signed the documents marking the official launch of cooperation with one of the world’s leading executive search firms.

The search process will be conducted in accordance with the best international corporate governance practices and the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises.
Korn Ferry will apply comprehensive leadership assessment methodologies, including structured interviews, psychometric instruments, and managerial maturity evaluations, to ensure a maximally objective and independent selection process.

The official announcement of the General Director search is expected in December 2025, with the selection process and identification of finalists to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
