А powerful alliance: Ukrainian hydropower and Italian innovations

On July 10 in Rome, during the Ukraine recovery Conference URC2025, Ukrhydroenergo and the Italian company Webuild S.p.A. signed a Memorandum of cooperation in the field of hydropower.
 

The companies plan to implement joint projects aimed at strengthening the resilience of Ukraine's hydropower sector. In the long term, they will work on large-scale initiatives that address both current energy security needs and the demands of environmental sustainability.
 

Continuing the dialogue with Webuild — a company with decades of experience in implementing complex infrastructure projects in more than 50 countries — is another strategic step toward recovering Ukraine's energy potential. Both parties expressed readiness to apply cutting-edge technologies, embracing European approaches to energy efficiency and sustainable development.
