Steve Walsh met with U.S. Lawmakers to discuss continued support for Ukraine

Washington, D.C., April 9 — Steve Walsh, member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo, met today with members of the U.S. Congress to discuss ongoing American support for Ukraine amid Russia’s continued aggression.

Among those present were Congressman Eugene Vindman, a Kyiv-born lawmaker and strong advocate for U.S.-Ukraine cooperation. The discussion focused on energy security, protecting critical infrastructure, and strengthening transatlantic partnerships.

Walsh underscored the importance of continued bipartisan support in Congress, especially for Ukraine’s energy sector, which remains under constant missile threat.

Members of the Ukrainian Support Coalition also joined the meeting, emphasising the need for sustained bipartisan assistance from the United States.
