Ukrhydroenergo and the EBRD discussed raising funds for future investment projects
Ihor Syrota, CEO of Ukrhydroenergo, Maria Bishko, Deputy CEO for Investment and International Finance at Ukrhydroenergo, and Arvid Turkner, Managing Director for Ukraine and Moldova at the EBRD, met on 25 April in Washington, DC.
The parties discussed the details of ongoing cooperation.
"We are grateful to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for its long-term cooperation, support and assistance since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, in particular in the restoration of generating capacities. We are grateful for the trust and the opportunity to implement plans to improve the efficiency of our hydroelectric power plants!" said Ihor Syrota.
The parties also discussed raising funds for future investment projects of Ukrhydroenergo.

Ukrhydroenergo recently received the first tranche of EUR 50 million under a loan agreement with the EBRD and the Italian government for the the Emergency restoration of hydroelectric power plants project.
