International partners are ready to help with restoration of Dnipro HPP
This was announced by Ukrhydroenergo CEO Ihor Syrota on national TV Channel 24.
Live broadcast (stated as of 14:30, at March 22):
- We will restore the Dnipro HPP as soon as possible. We already discussed the reconstruction of the station with our international partners and financial institutions. They are ready to support us. This is enormous and expensive amount of work to be done.
- The missile strikes were launched since 04:10 am, at March 22 until almost 7 am. The fire was localized around 8 am. Dnipro HPP is currently out of service.
- Dnipro HPP is the most powerful station in the Dnipro cascade. It plays an important role in ensuring the stability of Ukraine's power system. We have lost critical capacity for an indefinite period of time.
