Operational information for August 2nd

The development of an experimental project to restore the Kahovska Hydroelectric Power Plant will take two years. During the first stage, the design of a temporary reservoir dam is also planned. After the de-occupation, this will facilitate the quick start of the temporary hydro facility's construction to block the reservoir and help fill it with water to the required level in case of flooding.

The Kahovska Hydroelectric Power Plant construction will take about six years.
The hydroelectric power stations of the company are comprehensively preparing for the challenging autumn-winter period of 2023-2024. Planned repair work and reconstruction of hydroenergy equipment are being carried out at the stations with a focus on safety.

At Ukrhydroenergo, a series of events dedicated to gender equality and expanding opportunities for women have started within the framework of the project "Transformative approaches to achieving gender equality in Ukraine," initiated by UN Women and financially supported by the Government of Sweden. The monthly program in our company has already received support from the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, and the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.
