Operational Information as of September 6th
The water level in the lower reservoir of the Dnipro HPP is currently at 11.37 meters. The station's hydro units are operating according to the dispatcher's schedule. However, due to the damage to the Kakhovska HES and low water levels, there are limitations on power generation.
Before the heating season begins, Ukrhydroenergo, in collaboration with the design institute, is searching for solutions to enable Dnipro HPP to operate at full capacity and provide balancing power to the energy system.
Ukrhydroenergo is conducting an extensive maintenance campaign at its stations to prepare for the 2023-2024 Integrated Grid Program and the Restoration Program. Currently, 42 hydro units are undergoing reconstruction, major overhauls, and routine maintenance.
