The situation in the hydropower sector as of 6 March

The company's HPPs and PSPPs are operating normally. The company's plants are also preparing for the spring flood.  There are 23 hydraulic units under repair. Of these, 9 are under reconstruction and 5 are under overhaul.

The stations are completing preparatory work for the spring flood. All hydroelectric facilities on Ukrhydroenergo's balance sheet are in good working order, meet design requirements, and can perform their functional purpose in the specified modes.

The plants operate by the natural flow of water. Hydroelectric power plants make no idle discharges.

The general situation in the power system:

In the Khmelnytskyi region, over 14,000 consumers were left without power due to a Shahed drone attack on substations. Restoration work is underway.

There is no deficit in the power system. No blackout schedules are applied.
