Steve Walsh emphasised the importance of international support for Ukraine
Steve Walsh, a Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo member, met with representatives of the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and five representatives of the Republican and Democratic parties in Washington, DC.
The main purpose of the visit was to support the speedy adoption of the Ukraine Assistance Act.
During the meetings, Steve Walsh spoke about the achievements and challenges faced by the Ukrhydroenergo team in the context of the war with Russia. He stressed the importance of the international community's support for Ukraine at this stage, emphasising that the resilience and protection of Ukrhydroenergo's facilities are essential for Ukraine's energy security and sustainable development.
