"Today, Ukrhydroenergo's main efforts are aimed at ensuring reliable energy supply despite the military challenges. In particular, due to numerous attacks on our facilities, about 40% of the company's capacities have been damaged,” said Oleg Terletskyi, "We understand that we have to think about the future of our children, even while taking urgent measures.”

In October Ukraine introduced a system of trading in electricity origin guarantees. Ukrhydroenergo has already sold more than 100,000 certificates, confirming its status as a reliable clean energy supplier.

According to Oleg Terletskyi, the development of renewable energy is not only a sustainable development strategy, but also a concrete effort to ensure the stability of the energy system, which has been hit by thousands of russian attacks. An important step was the creation of a national platform for trading guarantees of origin, which allows Ukraine to confirm the origin of renewable energy and offer it according to international standards.

The member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo also emphasized the importance of cooperation with international partners to restore and strengthen the power system to meet global challenges in the fight against climate change.

Oleg Terletskyi added that Ukrhydroenergo continues to work to restore its capacities and protect its employees working in difficult conditions. The company is currently implementing projects to ensure the sustainability of the power system.
