This decision was made to ensure that the company's actions align with the broader national strategy of Ukraine.

The strategy focuses on holding the aggressor state accountable for the damage inflicted on critical infrastructure and ensuring compensation for the destruction caused. In this context, additional consultations will be held with the government and other key stakeholders to determine the most appropriate course of action in line with the national approach, which is being coordinated in partnership with Ukraine's international allies.

To recall, on August 15, 2024, Ukrhydroenergo announced a tender for legal services aimed at securing legal representation to seek compensation for the investment losses caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP, which was blown up by Russian occupation forces in June last year.

The company remains committed to pursuing full compensation for all damages caused by the war, which include not only the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP but also more than 140 missile strikes on other company assets. We will continue to work closely with the relevant stakeholders and will keep all interested parties informed of our next steps in this critical process.
