Ukrhydroenergo is seeking the global community’s support
Ukrhydroenergo is seeking the global community’s support following the recent terrorist attack on June 6, 2023, at Kakhovka HPP in Ukraine.
The resulting environmental and man-made disaster requires condemnation and evaluation from the world.
"Ukrhydroenergo is faced with the challenging task of restoring our plants while ensuring their uninterrupted operation following yet another terrorist attack by Russia," stated Igor Syrota, CEO of Ukrhydroenergo.
The international community must unite to support Ukraine and address "the full spectrum of issues stemming from Russia's actions, including social, environmental, economic, and technological concerns".
Notably, using advanced technology, Ukrhydroenergo and specialised design organisations are already creating technical solutions for the future reconstruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.
