The average level of the lower pool near the dam of the Dnipro HPP is 13.10 m BS.
To speed up the construction of a temporary dam to block the Kakhovka reservoir after de-occupation, a temporary dam is planned to be designed.
The levels in all reservoirs are lower than they were last year at this time. The release of water from the Dnipro reservoirs is due to the need to provide consumers with electricity for the duration of the repair campaign. Today, Ukrhydroenergo has filed an emergency application to accumulate water in the Kyiv reservoir instead of using it.
In technical terms, Ukrhydroenergo's HPPs and PSPPs are ready for the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024.
