The average level of the lower reaches near the Dnipro HPP dam is 12.05 m BS.
For the Dnipro HPP to operate appropriately, the water level must be at least 12-12.5 meters. Before the autumn-winter, Ukrhydroenergo and the design institute are looking for solutions appropriate to the project so that the plant can operate at full capacity to provide the power system with balancing capabilities.
The implementation of the Kakhovka HPP rebuilding project will be carried out only after all the necessary examinations and detailed studies of the damage to the plant as a result of the Russians' building bombing.
