A steady decline of 2-5 cm per hour continues in the Kherson post. The water level has dropped by 0.58 meters overnight. And as of 10:00 on June 14, it is 2.38 meters. The total decline from the maximum level (10.74 m above the zero of the post at 3:00 am on June 8) is 3.30 m.
According to preliminary estimates, about 70% of the water volume has been lost from the Kakhovka reservoir.
According to the Ukrhydromedcenter, water levels in the Kakhovka reservoir are below the critical levels of water intake in the settlements of Zaporizhzhia district of Zaporizhzhia region, Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovs'k region, Beryslav and Kakhovka districts of Kherson region.
During today, water levels will continue to drop by 1-10 cm per hour below the Kakhovka HPP, with flooding persisting.
Due to a sharp drop in the water level in the lower reaches of the Dnipro HPP, the plant's hydraulic units are operating with restrictions.
