The main points as of 17:00 on March 22:
- Ukrhydroenergo is currently trying to analyze the situation. It will take about 3 days for a full assessment and examination.
- There is no threat of a dam break. There is surface damage, but the dam itself is intact.
- Part of the ceiling and walls have collapsed in the engine room. The HPP will need to restore electrical equipment and hydraulic units. Everything will be restored, it's just a matter of time.
- Ukrhydroenergo has an important mission to fulfill the PSO. Due to the massive attacks and the need to restore a large amount of equipment, the function of covering the difference in tariff for the population is now under threat.
- The timely reactions and actions of the international community will determine how the enemy will act further.
