Ukrhydroenergo is conducting an extensive maintenance campaign at the HPPs and PSPPs to prepare for the autumn-winter period. In addition to major and ongoing repairs, the company is actively working on projects to enhance the physical security of stations.
The average water level in the lower reservoir near the Dnipro HPP is 12.17 meters above sea level. The station's hydro units are operating according to the dispatch schedule.
The need to restore the Kakhovka hydro complex is not just about its importance to Ukraine's energy system but also maintaining the reservoir. It has provided water to several regions. It's worth noting that the Kherson region has lost 94% of its water supply for agriculture and industry. Dnipropetrovsk region has lost 64%, and Zaporizhzhia region has lost 70%.
