Situation in the hydropower sector as of 3 January

 Hydropower plants continue to provide the power system with balancing and emergency reserves during peak electricity consumption. There are 84 hydroelectric units in operation.

 The company continues the repair campaign and the programme to restore critical infrastructure equipment.

На branches are prepared to deploy "Islands of Heat and Light" (heating points) if necessary.

The general situation in the power system:

 In Kyiv and the region, power supply has been restored to household consumers who were cut off due to massive shelling on 2 January.

Despite the drop in temperature, there is no electricity shortage in the system. No outage schedules are applied.
