Update as of August 7
The average level of the lower reservoir at the Dnipro HPP dam is 14.74 m BS.
The development of the pilot project for the restoration of the Kakhovka HPP will take two years. At the first stage, it is planned to design a temporary reservoir dam. After de-occupation, this will help to quickly begin construction of a temporary hydraulic structure to block the reservoir and, in the event of a flood, help fill it with water to the required level.
Ukrhydroenergo's HPPs and PSPPs continue to restore capacities lost during the shelling, conduct scheduled maintenance campaigns, and actively prepare for the 2023-2024 winter load.
