The EBRD will continue to assist in the restoration of Ukrhydroenergo HPPs
On December 19, the annual review of the loan portfolio of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development projects was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Olha Zykova and Managing Director, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at EBRD Matteo Patrone, with Ukrhydroenergo's specialists taking part.
The parties discussed key measures and results of the work under the current project "Rehabilitation of Hydroelectric Power Stations", which has been in operation since 2012, and planned a list of measures for 2024.
Participants also reviewed the state of preparation for the project "Emergency Restoration of Hydroelectric Power Stations", which plans to involve credit funds from the EBRD and the Government of Italy. The project aims to restore and enhance operational reliability and ensure efficient and accident-free operation of equipment at Ukrhydroenergo hydroelectric power stations, which were damaged due to the military aggression of the russian federation.
