Operational information as of December 20

Passage of the heating season and restoration:

Ahead of the heating season, more than 1500 lost capacities due to russian missile strikes have been restored at Ukrhydroenergo stations. Another thousand will be fixed over the next six months.

Also, recently, after maintenance, the company put into operation a hydro unit with a capacity of 44 MW  at one of the company's hydroelectric power stations.

The situation in the energy system:

The situation in the energy system is stable and under control. All generations are working to ensure the consumption of electricity.

Ukrhydroenergo, if necessary, covers the deficit in the energy system. The share of HPPs and PSPs in the structure of electricity production during peak loads is about 20%.

Warming continues to affect the level of electricity consumption. There is no electricity deficit. But the overall level of consumption remains high. Therefore, consumers are requested to save electricity. Do not use energy-intensive appliances during peak hours.

The application of restrictions on electricity supply is currently not envisaged in any region. All restrictions today are caused by military actions.
