The general situation in the power system as of 7 February
The morning's massive rocket attack did not have critical consequences for the stable operation of the power system. There are blackouts in Kyiv and Kharkiv due to damage to the power grids.
Warming contributes to a decrease in consumption. There is currently no shortage in the power system.
However, it is important not to overload the power system, especially during peak consumption hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00).
The situation in the hydropower sector:
HPPs and PSPPs are operating normally. There are 73 hydraulic units in operation.
The volume of water in the Dnipro reservoir cascade is sufficient for the stable operation of hydroelectric power plants.
The repair campaign at Ukrhydroenergo's stations continues according to the schedule. Several works are being carried out to extend the operation of the equipment, and preparations are underway to pass the spring flood.
