The situation in the hydropower sector as of 21 February

The company's HPPs and PSPPs are operating normally. 72 hydraulic units are in operation.

The water levels in the reservoirs of the Dnipro and Dniester cascades are within the limits set by the Interdepartmental Commission of the State Water Agency of Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre, due to the emptying of the Kakhovka reservoir and the Dnipro River's entry into the old natural channel, water levels are significantly lower than the water intake levels in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

The general situation in the power system:

There is no deficit in the power system.

However, it is important not to overload the power system, especially during peak consumption hours (from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00)
